I recently retired from the life of a wage-slave, and I can now do many more commissions per year. You pay half when you book your painting, and the other half after you receive it.
I work from photographs of your dog. They must be clear and sharp, and show the expression you want. I can fudge things like ear sets, coat length, tail position, etc. I take good care of the photos and return them unharmed with the portrait.
This is an example of an 18x24 full dog portrait in a landscape, painted in oil. These cost $500 This was a commission. Detail of head --
