My Life as an Artist
I am a member of the San Pedro River Arts Council and I currently serve as their Treasurer.
I grew up in the little desert town of Benson and graduated from Benson High School in 1960. I spent my working life in California as a mainframe computer system programmer, retired in 2005 and returned to Benson for good in 2009. During the California years I was involved with showing and breeding show dogs. I have painted commissioned show dog and show horse portraits since 1970, in pastel and oils. My work has sold to both national and international clients. I paint oil landscapes for my own pleasure and have dabbled with sculpture.
I work in Oil, Pastels, Acrylic, Pen & Ink, and Watercolor and I experiment with sculpture and glass fusion.
